After sweeping the Hong Kong Typhoon Select team in Nanjing, China last month, the U8 Select Team will put its undefeated 14-0-2 record to the test in Korea on April 6, 7, and 8. They will face four Seoul-based teams, the Blue Eagles, Suwon Eagles, Iron Eagles and Tiger Sharks over three days of play.
The following month the boys head to Hong Kong for the Hong Kong Hockey 5’s MegaIce tournament. This is the biggest tournament in Asia and will really test the boys’ skills.
The team will be ready though, thanks to some extensive on and off-ice training sessions and two local scheduled games with the Shanghai Stars.
