1. Can I get hockey equipment in Shanghai?
Yes, you may find hockey equipment in Shanghai, but warn that supply is limited and cost is higher than North America. If you are relocating to Shanghai, we suggest that you bring your equipment. Please keep in mind that when relocating, your sea shipment can take longer to arrive than anticipated, and we would suggest to ship your hockey equipment via air to ensure its on-time and safe arrival. Parents & players are great about passing down or selling used equipment. In Shanghai, there are a few shops with limited supplies, like Shanghai Century Star Skating Club, Mercedes Benz Arena (2nd floor). What about skate sharpening? We have skate sharpening service available to our members . Please email us if you need these services. 2. How much does the hockey programs cost? Costs for House League are approximately 5000 RMB per session. This cost estimate is based on ~ 70 kids per session and allocated ice time. NOTE: Additional cost for the Select teams is required above the House League fee as well as tournament fees, and travel fees. 3. Who plays on the hockey teams? The teams are mostly made up of kids living in the Puxi / Pudong area who are devoted to hockey in their home countries. We currently have three levels of house league- Group 3 (2006 & Later), Group 2 (2004 & 2005) and Group 1 (2003 & Earlier) and Select (Travel) teams U10, U12 and U15. Please visit the individual tabs to get more information about the teams. 4. My child has never skated or played hockey. Can he still join? Children entering the Shanghai Thunderbirds organization need to know how to skate and basic understanding of the game. The Thunderbirds host two developmental skating programs: Learn to Skate, for the beginner skater, Skills & Drills for the beginner hockey player. 5. Is there a specific format that the coaches follow? We follow the Canadian Youth Ice Hockey Development program. 6. Are there tryouts? House League - No Select - Yes 7. I have experience coaching in my home country. Can I get involved? Absolutely! We are always looking for qualified coaches, and support staff. The number required will fluctuate depending the number of teams. If you are interested please complete a coaching application form. 8. When and where do the kids play? Currently, we use two main rinks for practices, Century Stars Rink and Sanlin Sports Arena. Maps of the areas around the rinks can found by clicking on Players Corner Ice Rink tab. |

虽然在上海买得到冰球装备,可是上海的装备在数量、大小和型号上都有限。除此之外,价格也比北美的贵很多。如果你即将移居上海我们建议你携带自己的装备。我们STMHA 协会虽然有一个家长装备交换项目让家长之间可以买卖装备,可是同样装备的选择非常有限。 当您准备移居上海的时候,请注意海运的时间要比想象中的更久,我们建议您把冰球装备空运至上海,这样可以保证装备的准时、安全地到达。家长和队员非常乐意提供或转让已使用过的装备。如有需要请点击我们网站位于家长角落的装备交换页面。上海有几家小型的冰球装备销售点,例如位于梅赛德斯演艺中心二楼的世纪星滑冰俱乐部。冰刀要去哪里磨?松江大学城的冰场提供磨冰刀的服务。如有需要请email联系。 2. 冰球项目如何收费? 参加队内联赛的是每赛季每人5000元人民币。 这个价格是在有70个孩子参加及相应包冰时间的基础上而定的。 备注:参加精英队伍的还有额外费用,例如旅行费用和外出参加各种联赛费用。 3. 参加球队的都有哪些成员? 队里的孩子一般都是来自住在浦西、浦东,并且都是对冰球运动非常执着的小朋友。我们目前有三个组别,第三组(2006 和之后的),第二组(2004和2005),第一组(2003和之前出生的),和精英组,U10,U12,U14。请点击个别网页了解更多情况。 4. 我的孩子从来没有打过冰球,他也可以参加吗? 参加雷鸟的孩子必须对溜冰和冰球有基本的了解。上海有多处可以学习基础溜冰和冰球的场所。 浦西的冠军冰场提供基础溜冰教学。 5. 教练教学是遵循那种教学方法或理念? 教练采用的是加拿大青少年冰球发展课程。 6. 要经过相应的测试才能进队吗? 队内联赛-没有 精英队 – 有 7. 我在自己的国家有过当教练的经验,我可以参与吗? 当然了。我们一直在寻找有经验的教练和工作人员。所需教练人数跟实际球队球员人数相关。如果对当教练感兴趣的,请填写教练申请表格。 8. 孩子们什么时间和在哪里打球? 目前我们主要在松江大学城的冰场和三林运动中心在浦东。冰场的地图可以在Player Corner 页面里找到。 |
